New Occupational Risk course for Risk Managers and Risk Practitioners

We are proud to announce a new GIFS professional programme: the Occupational Certificate, Organisational Risk Practitioner (specialism in short-term insurance NQF Level 6).

The Occupational Certificate, Organisational Risk Practitioner, is a vertical articulation from the NQF Level 5 qualification in short-term insurance, and provides sufficient knowledge and understanding of risk management.

This qualification will enable graduates to support the functions of Risk Officers or Risk Practitioners, who are responsible for the management of the complete risk management process in an organisation. This qualification further allows for the conferment of the professional designation of Associate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa.

As with all GIFS programmes, this programme accommodates distance learners through our online learning platform.
