We proudly hosted our GIFS Internal Awards celebration recently. We’re excited to pay tribute to our superstars who set an incredible example, are dedicated to their craft and rise to the occasion no matter the challenge.

While each member of the GIFS team is recognised for their commitment to our values, the following superstars have been singled out for being exemplary.

CEO’s Choice Award

Kudos to Caitlyn Prakasim, the recipient of this year’s CEO’s Choice Award. Caitlyn has consistently shown commitment to the GIFS’ brand, her work is always performed excellently, she exceeds expectations set out in her job description and most importantly, Caitlyn lives the values set out in our Excellence Formula. Notably, she leads with integrity, is committed to changing lives and strives for meaningful change in the education sector. Our massive congratulations to Caitlyn for this deserved win. We are in awe of this game-changer in our midst!

People’s Choice Award

Tholakele is the winner of this year’s People’s Choice Award. Tholakele walks away with the coveted accolade after being chosen by her peers. Most notably, Tholakele was judged the winner for her commitment to team work and mutual respect.

Fast Growth Award

Amelia September has been voted by her peers as the Fast Growth Award recipient. The GIFS’ Executive Committee felt Amelia has displayed tremendous personal growth within her job and has an infectious can-do attitude.

Culture Award

Nozipho Khuzwayo walks away with this year’s Culture Award. The Executive Committee voted on the basis of Nozipho’s consistent display of commitment to the GIFS’ Excellence Formula.
