How INSETA system interruptions affect you

INSETA has issued a memo highlighting interruptions to its operating systems that will roll over into 2021. It’s let us know that the following processes will be affected:

  • Verification of learner qualifications for employment purposes.
  • Confirmation of learner credits and downloading of Statement of Results.
  • Employer and SDF registrations on the Skills system.
  • WSP and ATR submissions.

Unfortunately, interruptions to the above have a knock-on effect on our operations here at GIFS.

As a result, we are unable to issue statements of results and/or certificates for programmes that were already verified but not yet approved by INSETA.

While INSETA has indicated mid-January 2021 as when interruptions are likely to end, no specific date has been provided. However, INSETA has committed to notifying us once a definitive date is confirmed with management. We will share this with you once official communication is received.

We understand how frustrating this delay may be, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. You have our assurance that once the greenlight is received from INSETA, we will do our utmost to fast-track the documentation. In the interim, we humbly request that you please bear with us.
