Programme details
According to FSCA legislation, FSP’s, KI’s and Reps need to remain current within their respective roles. They are required to constantly enhance their skills, knowledge and experience while they work. This process, which is tracked and documented, is known as Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
As an accredited body with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA), GIFS offers a diverse range of CPD courses and programmes that include Long-Term Insurance, Short-Term Insurance, Financial Planning, Investments and Healthcare.
Our online specialist CPD offering allows financial services professionals to stay informed about market activity, changes in legislation and practice, changes in areas of specialisation, or simply further their studies in their related fields – all online at their convenience.
The CPD period runs from 1 June to 31 May of each year. All activities are endorsed by recognised a professional body.
NB. The 2019/2020 CPD cycle deadline has been extended by 3 months until 31 August 2020.
