Filmmaker extraordinaire, Jayan Moodley, is responsible for local favourites, White Gold (2010), Keeping Up With The Kandasamys (SA’s #1 movie in 2017), Kandasamys: The Wedding (2019) and, more recently, Trippin’ With The Kandasamys (2021).

Trailblazer, Faathima Mahomed, Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, wrapped up our #WomensMonth Fearless In Focus celebrations. Faathima, who holds B.Proc, LLB and LLM degrees, was admitted to the Johannesburg Society of Advocates last year. She is a general litigator and has experience and an interest in constitutional, administrative, employment, commercial law and regulatory law. Faathima has worked for the human rights NGO, the Initiative for Strategic Litigation in Africa (ISLA), focusing on strategic litigation to advance women’s rights within the African regional human rights system.
